“Nudism Happens”
When society decides to allow what being naked really means, why we should or should not be offended by it, and how some people who want to *might* be permitted this freedom. I believe it is a freedom, or a Right, and that no harm will honestly come to civilization if it is permitted. Just look around the world and see the places where cultural nudity remains permitted. If individuals are civilized about their use of nudity, then perhaps a more informed attitude will emerge towards it.
I view events such as WNBR, Bare to Breakers, Burning Man, The Fremont Street Solstice Festival and other public events as evidence of an emerging “need” of people to connect in THAT way. We might be the minority in this, but traditionally protecting the Rights of social minorities, civil minorities, is one of society’s greatest achievement.
