1)… You Won’t Have to Buy Clothes

Nudism (or naturism) is seen by most as a strange and taboo fraction of modern culture, but when you really stop to think about it, living without clothes actually makes a lot of sense. Sure, there are a lot of issues with going nude, but if you can get past the creepy onlookers, then you’ll discover a life of ease and comfort. The first is the most obvious reason, but also probably the most significant. If you stop wearing clothes, then you don’t need to buy them anymore. Just think of the amount of money you’ll save by reducing your clothing budget to zero. Even if you need clothes for certain occasions, they’ll last for a really long time because you hardly ever wear them.

2)… You’ll Feel New Sensations

Since we usually have our skin covered up for most of the time, we often forget how good it feels to be nude. The skin is an amazing organ that is very sensitive to even the slightest touch, and feeling a new sensation actually stimulates brain activity. There’s a reason why we usually don’t wear our clothes during sexual activity. Check a few awesome things you need to experience nude at least once:

  • Soft fabric
  • Swimming
  • Wind
  • Grass

3)… You Won’t Need to Decide What to Wear

When you wake up in the morning and start to get ready for the day, the worst part very well may be standing in front of your closet deciding what to wear. If you’re not wearing any clothes, then the decision is pretty easy. Just roll out of bed, shower up, and head out the door. Just be aware that some people might not appreciate your (lack of) clothing choice.

4)… You Won’t Get Tan Lines

Whether you’re a beach bum or are just looking to get a nice tan for the summer, the biggest thing you want to avoid is a bad tan line. Nothing’s worse than taking off your shirt to reveal a pale, white chest when you’re trying to impress someone. Obviously, if you’re in the nude then you don’t need to worry about tan lines. You’ll get a nice, even color on your whole body. Just think of all these typical bad tan lines you’ll avoid:

  • Farmer’s tan

5)…You’ll Boost Your Self-Esteem

In this crazy world, most people have an unattainable image of what they believe their body should look like. This leads to a variety of problems, including eating disorders and poor self esteem. If you spend more time out of your clothes, you’ll get a lot more comfortable with what your body looks like. You can also take that to the next level by joining a group of nudists/naturists, which will also give your self-esteem a good boost.

6)… You Won’t Have to Do Laundry

Just take a second to think about how much laundry you do in a month. Now imagine having all of that free time back. Not wearing clothes sounds pretty good right about now doesn’t it? In addition to the time saved, you’ll also save money in these ways:

  • Lower water bills
  • Lower electricity bills
  • Don’t need detergent
  • Don’t need fabric softener

7)… You’ll Never Have to Pack

If you love going on vacation, you know how much packing sucks. Why not just leave your clothes behind and pack light instead? It’s a lot easier to bring a small duffel bag of supplies than a gigantic suitcase full of clothes on a trip. In addition, you’ll fly right through security since you can’t hide anything.

8)… You Won’t Get Sand in Your Suit

Everyone loves sand, but everyone hates getting sand in their clothes. If you wear clothes to the beach, you’ll be finding little grains of the stuff for weeks to come. Just take your trips to the beach without any clothes and you won’t have sand in your suit ever again!

9)… Your Body Won’t Be Restricted

Workout clothes are expensive, so what if you could avoid that expense and get a better workout? There’s a reason why the ancient Greeks used to exercise in the nude, and the same benefits hold true today. Without clothes, you have a truly full range of motion and your movements will not be restricted. This effect is most heavily noticed when you’re:

  • Stretching
  • Swimming
  • Doing yoga

10)… You’ll Stay Cooler

The main purpose of clothing is to regulate body temperature, but in the summer it just traps heat and rapidly warms your body. By going naked, the skin is exposed to raw air, which makes it feel much more comfortable. You’ll also get more rapid cooling effects from getting wet or sweating.
